Frequently Asked Questions
Qurbani (Arabic: أضحية, Udhiyah) is the sacrifice of a permissible animal — goat, sheep, or cattle — performed during the days of Eid Al-Adha (10th–12th Dhul Hijjah) to commemorate the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). It is Wajib (obligatory) in the Hanafi madhab for every adult Muslim who owns wealth above the nisab threshold.
Qurbani is Wajib on every adult Muslim (post-puberty, sane) who owns wealth above the nisab threshold on the days of Eid. This applies according to the Hanafi madhab. According to Shafi'i, Maliki, and Hanbali madhabs, it is a highly recommended Sunnah Mu'akkadah.
Goat or Sheep (minimum 1 year old, or 6 months if Damara-type) counts for 1 person. Cattle or Buffalo (minimum 2 years old) can be split among up to 7 persons. Camels (minimum 5 years old) among up to 7 persons. Animals must be free from serious defects.
Yes. You may dedicate a Sadaqah sacrifice or Qurbani on behalf of a deceased parent, relative, or any Muslim. Simply specify the name in the "Donor Name" field and select Sadaqah service. The reward (thawaab) is gifted to them through your intention (niyyah).
Aqiqah (عقيقة) is the Sunnah sacrifice performed upon the birth of a child — ideally on the 7th day. 2 animals for a boy, 1 for a girl. It can be performed at any age if missed at birth. It is performed year-round through Qurban Africa.
Every order includes GPS-stamped video proof of the sacrifice, distribution photos, a personalised certificate, and an official invoice. The video contains live GPS coordinates, exact date and time, and index number — verifiable on Google Maps.
After your payment is confirmed, the sacrifice is scheduled. Proof videos and photos are typically uploaded to your dashboard within 7–14 days. Certificate and invoice follow shortly after. You will receive email/WhatsApp notifications at every step.
We currently accept Manual Bank Transfer (Malaysian CIMB bank and Namibian bank accounts). Online payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, ToyyibPay) are being configured and will be enabled soon. All prices are in USD.
Cancellations are accepted up to 7 days before Eid Al-Adha for Qurbani, and up to 3 days before the scheduled date for Aqiqah/Sadaqah. Approved refunds are net of payment processor fees. Once a sacrifice has been performed, no refund is possible. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for full details.
We operate under a Wakalah (Agency) model — by booking, you appoint us as your Wakil (Agent) to perform the sacrifice on your behalf. All animals are inspected by qualified local Imams, and the full Islamic rites (Bismillah, Takbeer, proper slaughter) are observed.
