Celebrate the birth of your child with a Sunnah sacrifice in Namibia. Certificate in the child's name. Proof sent to you.
Aqiqah (عقيقة) is the Sunnah sacrifice performed to celebrate the birth of a child and to give thanks to Allah (SWT) for the blessing of a new life. It was practiced by the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and is considered an important Sunnah.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "For a boy there should be two sheep and for a girl one sheep." (Tirmidhi). The sacrifice is ideally performed on the 7th day after birth, but may also be done on the 14th, 21st day, or at any time if not yet performed.
If Aqiqah was not performed in childhood, it can be done at any age — adults may have their own Aqiqah arranged. Qurban Africa handles the logistics: we source the animal, perform the sacrifice with Islamic rites, recite the child's name, distribute the meat, and send you full proof and a certificate.
"Every child is in pledge for his Aqiqah which should be slaughtered on his behalf on the seventh day, and the child should be named on that day."
— Tirmidhi (1552)
