Annual Qurbani (Udhiyah)

UDHIYAH

Obligatory Eid Al-Adha sacrifice. Goat, sheep, or cattle. Performed 10th–12th Dhul Hijjah. Wajib in Hanafi madhab for every Muslim above nisab.

Who needs it: Adult Muslim who owns wealth above nisab.
Eligible animals: Goat/Sheep (1 person), Cattle (up to 7 shares).
Timing: After Eid Salah, 10th–12th Dhul Hijjah only.

Aqiqah

AQIQAH

Sunnah sacrifice for the birth of a child. 2 animals for a boy, 1 for a girl. Can be performed at any age.

Who needs it: Parents of a newborn — or any adult whose Aqiqah was not performed at birth.
Timing: Year-round. No fixed calendar date.

Sadaqah Sacrifice

SADAQAH

Voluntary sacrifice as a thank-you to Allah, for healing (shifa), for a deceased person, or any pure act of worship.

Who performs it: Any Muslim for any occasion.
Dedicated to: Living or deceased. Specify in the "Donor Name" field.
Timing: Year-round.

Nazar / Votive Sacrifice

NAZAR

Fulfil a vow (Nazar) you made to perform a sacrifice if Allah fulfilled a specific du'a. Wajib once the condition is met.

Who performs it: Anyone who made a Nazar and whose condition was fulfilled.
Timing: Year-round. Should be performed as soon as possible.
